It was Patty who planned our trapeze adventure and it turned out to be one of the most challenging and exciting adventures for all of us. So, even though Patty and I are technically the screamers and scaredy cats I never assume that it will be easy. We met up at a McDonalds and found out we would be heading over to the Fencing Academy for a 2 hour training session. As always, we had a blast. I decided as a tribute to the new Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon I would write this blog as Thank You Notes to the Fencing Academy. If you have never seen this bit here is a quick clip so when you read my Thank you notes you can imagine the seriousness of it all. 🙂
Thank you, Fencing Academy, for allowing us to realize that we are not as super sleuth as we thought.
Our secret attempt at showing our readers the coolest looking pro-fencer EVER failed miserably. Evidence below. #ponytailsandirishcapsrequired
Thank you, Fencing Academy, for providing us with giant sized everything to pose with and look super smart and super strong. #crossfitmakesheatherthinkshecankickanyonesbutt #stacyandkat=bobbyfisher
Thank you, Fencing Academy, for providing Kat the perfect storm of serious instructor explaining the term (real, live term people) of “dry fencing”. #can’tbreatheheatherandstacymakingitworse
Thank you, Fencing Academy, for giving us pink jackets to wear on Patty’s adventure. Nothing says stabbing one another with swords like a pale pink jacket. #cooolllllrider
Thank you, Fencing Academy, for helping us continue our long lived tradition of laughing, crying, and supporting one another. #whatwaslifelikebeforethis?

This place was awesome and our instructor was super knowledgeable and kind. Terrific day planned by our Patty-kins. Thank you!
